Karnataka’s prominence in renewable energy production is set to be showcased at the second edition of the International “India Green Energy Expo” from June 3 onwards. The event, organized in collaboration with the Karnataka Solar Energy Producers Association and the Fried Energy Environment Resource Research Institute, will take place at the BIEC Center in Bangalore.

With support from over 100 government organizations, including BESCOM and Credel, the expo aims to highlight Karnataka’s leadership in the renewable energy sector. The inauguration ceremony will see the presence of key figures such as All India Solar Thermal Federation President K.R. Surendra Kumar, Energy Minister K.J. George, and Heavy and Medium Industries Minister M.B. Patil, alongside other dignitaries.

The expo will feature industry professionals from various sectors, including solar, wind, hydro, and biomass. It will focus on initiatives like the PM Suryagarh and PM Kusum projects, aimed at adding 500 GW capacity in renewable energy by 2030.
