The investigation into the murder case of Neha Hiremath, which has made noise in the country including the state, has been speeded up. In the meantime, the government has provided security to Neha’s family members as they are receiving death threats. In addition, bodyguards have been assigned to Neha’s father Niranjan.
When Chief Minister visited on Thursday, Niranjan Hiremath had said that there was a threat to our family’s life and requested for security. The government immediately responded by assigning a gunman to Niranjan and providing security to his house.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah arrived on Thursday and promised justice for Neha’s murder. Apart from providing security to the house, bodyguards have been deployed. Our only demand is that Neha’s soul should rest in peace and the accused should be hanged. He requested that one should not listen to any speculations.
