The Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti (MES) has devised a strategy to unite the Maratha community, which constitutes over 2 lakh voters in the Belagavi Lok Sabha constituency. As part of this plan, it has invited Manoj Jarange (Patil), the leader of the Maratha reservation movement in Maharashtra, to Belagavi on April 30.
A meeting of the Maratha community was held to discuss the upcoming convention.
The leaders present at the meeting resolved to raise awareness about the event and encourage maximum participation from the community.
