Krishnamurthy B.R., an Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) with Hescom (Hubli Electricity Supply Company) Central Office, Hubballi, passed away due to a massive heart attack while on duty as a Sector Officer in the Dharwad Lok Sabha Constituency. Krishnamurthy, aged 52 and originally from Davanagere, had served in various districts of North Karnataka for many years. He was on duty at Navnagar when the heart attack occurred around 1 pm. He is survived by his wife, Dr. Nagaratna, a dentist at the Government Kittoor Hospital, and his son Swaroop. The funeral procession of Krishnamurthy will take place at Rudrabhoomi, Navnagar, Hubli, on April 21 at 12 noon. Electoral Officer Divya Prabhu, Assistant Electoral Officer Priyanga M., Managing Director of Hescom Mohammad Roshan, and General Manager Siddu Hulloli expressed their condolences on the demise of AEE Krishnamurthy.
