Second Year PUC Result, 81.5pc Students Passed, Dakshina Kannada Bags First Place, Gadag Is Last

Second PUC Examination-1 results are declared. Karnataka School Examination and Valuation Board Chairperson N Manjushree held a press conference and announced the result. This time 81.15 percent students have passed. Dakshina Kannada district with 97.37 percent has got the first position followed by Udupi with 96.8 percent  is second and Vijayapura with 94.89 percent is third, Uttara Kannada is fourth and Kodagu district is fifth. Gadag district is at the last position.

68.36 percent in Arts, 80.94 percent in Commerce, 89.96 percent in Science departments have passed. A total of 6,81,079 students appeared for the examination, out of which 5,52,690 have passed recording 81.15 percent.

Three students have emerged as toppers in the arts department. D Medha of NMKRV PU College, Jayanagar, Bangalore, Vedant Navi,   of SSPU College, Vijayapur and BV Kavita of Indu Independent PU College, Kottur, Ballari jointly got first place. All of them have scored 596 marks out of 600.In the examination, a total of 2570 students got hundred percent marks in Kannada, 5 students got 100 marks in English, 55 students got 100 marks in Hindi. Last date to apply for scan copy of answer sheet is 16th April. The answer sheet scan copy is allowed to be downloaded till 19th April.
