Former Chief Minister and BJP candidate for Gadag-Haveri Lok Sabha constituency, Basavaraj Bommai, expressed his opinion on the difference between the administration and experience of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. During a campaign event at Bommanahalli in Hangal taluk, Bommai underscored the discrepancy between the promises made by the government and their implementation, particularly in rural development. He criticized the diversion of funds meant for SC/ST communities to fulfill government commitments, leading to financial strain and unmet guarantees.
Bommai predicted an inevitable defeat for the Congress party in the upcoming elections, citing a history of drought, corruption, and minimal development under their rule. He urged voters to consider the track record of the ruling party and emphasized the need for change.
