BELAGAVI
One of the five people who were seriously injured in a gas cylinder explosion in Basavan Galli of the district died without treatment. Hemant Bhatt (27) was the person whodied.
The accident happened while lighting the gas stove in the apartment house. As the lighter was switched on, the cylinder exploded. Five members of the Bhatt family were seriously injured in the incident. The injured were immediately admitted to Bims Hospital. Later he was admitted to a private hospital for further treatment.But on Sunday night, Hemant Bhatt (27) breathed his last after the treatment failed. Lalita Bhatt (48), Mohan Bhatt (56), Kamakshi Bhatt (80), Gopikrishna Bhatt (84) are the rest of the injured and are undergoing treatment. A case has been registered at Khadebazar Police station.
