Lorry Owners And Drivers Association Protest Against Hit And Run Act Of Central Government

The Lorry Owners and Drivers Association is protesting against the central government against the hit and run act of the central government and to fulfil various demands.

After holding a press conference   in front of Shanti College in Malavalli town, the President of the Association, Naganna, said that the Lorry Owners and Drivers across the town have shut down without doing any business. Earlier in hit and run case, 2 years imprisonment and 1000 rupees fine was imposed. However, due to the new law, the driver can be jailed for 10 years and fined up to 7 lakh rupees.

Therefore, the lorry owners and drivers have gone on strike, demanding changes in the new law. 

This is a law that has come to the death of drivers in the entire country of India, an accident occurs unexpectedly. This is a heinous law that punishes drivers with 10 years in jail and a fine of 7 lakhs. It should be withdrawn immediately. This is a blind law. They said that the strike will not stop until they get it back.

Zabi Ola Khan, Nagesh, Anand, Girish, Kumar, Puttaswamy, Shivakumar, Nagendra, Mahesh, Jayaramu etc. were present in the protest.
