Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda said that JDS state president CM Ibrahim and party national vice president CK Nanu have been expelled from the party due to anti-party activities. Addressing a media conference after the national executive meeting at the party’s headquarters, JP Bhawan, he announced the decision to oust the two leaders. He opposed the decision taken in his presence for the benefit of the party and spread slander against the party and party leaders. Due to this, the charisma and well-being of the party is threatened. In this regard, the former Prime Ministers said that a national executive meeting was convened in Bangalore and a consensus decision was taken for the ouster. Mandya district JDS president D. Ramesh, Ibrahim and West Bengal JDS unit president Puneeth Kumar Singh, who was the national vice-president, Kerala’s CK Nanu, presented a resolution to expel from the party in the executive meeting.
