Kannada Rajyotsav Celebrations Promote Language Unity And Cultural Fervor

During the inauguration of the Kannada Rajyotsav and the launch of a discounted health card event by the Sivanapallya Citizens Forum (R) Lokkarpane and Bangalore Hospital near Netaji Barangay Shirke Circle in Kengeri Subnagar of Yeshavantpur Assembly Constituency, Sri Chandrasekhara Swamiji of Okkaligara Mahasansthan Math emphasized the paramount importance of preserving the Kannada language, the essence of the region. Advocating for the extensive use of Kannada in all domains, Swamiji urged Kannadigas to cherish and safeguard their linguistic heritage. He expressed concern over the declining trend of using Kannada in everyday discourse, particularly during Kannada Rajyotsava in November, stressing the need for Kannadigas to voluntarily embrace their language without coercion. G. Sathya, the President of Shivnapalya Citizen Forum, emphasized the role of altruistic organizations in contributing to societal welfare, envisioning a better quality of life for the community through collective efforts. Film actor Srinath echoed sentiments about Kannada Rajyotsava, highlighting its emotional significance for Kannadigas. He emphasized that the celebration wasn’t merely a festivity but a moment of pride and unity, resonating beyond Karnataka’s borders. The event witnessed diverse performances by Akshara Events, R.J. Dance Studio, S. Entertainment by R. Nature Institute, Charara Ranga Team, Varalakshmi Nrityalaya, Open Fitness Dance Academy, Little Duckling Free School, and Lawrence Dance Academy, captivating and entertaining the audience. Notable personalities attending the event included film actors Srinath and Jr. Rajkumar, along with civic dignitaries such as Shivanpalya Citizens’ Forum President G. Satya, Dr. Abhishek from Bangalore Hospital, former Municipal President G. Muniraju, Anil Chalageri (BJP Nagar Mandal President), Ward President Jayaram, and various other office bearers and dignitaries. he event showcased a vibrant celebration of Kannada culture while emphasizing the need to cherish and preserve the language as an integral part of the region’s identity, fostering unity and pride among Kannadigas.
