Two-wheeler riders need to be very cautious not to violate the traffic rules as City Police have launched a special drive to take action on those violating traffic rules such as triple riding, making loud sounds and riding in opposite direction on one-way roads in the city.
Speaking to media persons,  City Police Commissioner R Chetan said violations of traffic rules by two-wheeler riders have been troubling the public and causing accidents. To stop this, a special drive has been launched in the city. He also requested parents not to let their children ride two-wheelers – especially if they are under 18 and do not have a driving license. If the rules are violated after all these strict orders, stern action will be taken against such riders, he warned.
He said action has been taken against some two-wheeler mechanics who have been making modifications by removing filters from bike silencers.
