Delhi Police Arrests Three Drug Peddlers, Seizes Over Rs 30 Lakh Worth Of Amphetamine

The Delhi Police have apprehended three individuals involved in drug peddling, including two foreign nationals, for distributing banned narcotics within the national capital. Law enforcement officers also confiscated 200 grams of high-quality amphetamine with a market value exceeding Rs 30 lakh from the suspects. The detained individuals have been identified as Odinaka Emelirou (aged 36) and Julius Njoku (aged 46), both of Nigerian nationality, along with Himanshu Chauhan (aged 40), a resident of Uttam Nagar. Authorities acted on specific information regarding the illegal drug trade in C-Block, Sewak Park, Uttam Nagar. A police team was deployed to the area, and a coordinated operation was initiated. During the operation, one foreign national arrived at the location on a scooter and stopped in front of a residence in C-Block. Subsequently, two other individuals emerged from the house to engage with him. Acting on the informant’s tip-off, the law enforcement team successfully apprehended all three suspects. The arrested individuals were identified as Odinaka, Julius, and Himanshu. During the operation, a white polythene bag containing a white substance weighing 200 grams was seized from their possession. Subsequent testing revealed that the substance was amphetamine, with an estimated value of over Rs 34 lakh. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) M Harsha Vardhan provided these details following the operation.
