Rural Development and Panchayat Raj and Information Technology Minister Priyank Kharge has written a letter to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, requesting him to  schedule the examinations on different dates as the State Public Service Commission (KPSC) has scheduled competitive examinations for three different posts on the same day on November 5.

In a letter to the Chief Minister, the Minister said that the State Public Service Commission had scheduled competitive examinations on the same day on November 5 for 242 posts of Accounts Assistants in the State Audit and Accounts Department, 47 posts of Inspectors of Cooperative Societies, 454 Civil Constables in the State Police Department.

In the last five years, thousands of candidates who have not been recruited to various government posts have been subjected to injustice as they are not getting jobs suitable for their educational qualifications and age limit. In the letter, the minister mentioned that the candidates have applied for each of the appointments for which applications have been invited for joining the government job and have been preparing for a long time, and therefore, the dates for different examinations should be fixed separately.
