On the occasion of Vijayadashami festival, blood was shed in the commercial city. The youth was hacked to death with deadly weapons. The incident took place near Shivalli railway bridge on the outskirts of city. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. Police said the youth was around 30 years old.
The youth sustained injuries on his neck, face and body. DCP and ACP visited the spot and inspected the spot. A case has been registered at Ashok Nagar Police station.
