He was speaking while inaugurating the district level Dussehra Games which was organized today at Nehru Stadium in collaboration with District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Youth Empowerment and Sports Department, Public Education Department and various sports associations. We are confident that the athletes will do the work of bringing glory to the district and the country by achieving success at the state level as well as the winners of the district level Dussehra Games. The Dussehra sports festival has its own significance. Dussehra sports events are organized from the beginning of Vijayadashami. Maharaja of Mysore initiated this great work. Our country is doing a great job of empowering sports. Khelo India Stadium is under construction in Atal Bihari Vajpayee Barangay. He wished sportspersons to perform well and bring glory to the state and the country as sports are being rejuvenated through Khelo India.
