Vande Bharat Train Cleaned In Record 14 Minutes

The Bengaluru-Dharwad Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20662) was cleaned in 14 minutes on its arrival at Dharwad railway station   under the 14-Minute Miracle launched by the Indian Railways.
Chief Mechanical Engineer VK Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager (SWR Hubli division) Harish Khare, Additional DRM Santosh Kumar Varma,  Anjaneyulu, Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer (Co-ordination) and others were present at Dharwad railway station.
The initiative to clean Vande Bharat Express trains is inspired from Japan’s 7-minute miracle of cleaning bullet trains. A senior railway official said that the step aims to streamline and reorient the cleaning process in Vande Bharat trains to make them ready for the next trip in record time. Three cleaning staff per coach will work in perfect sync to ensure that the train is clean and ready in just 14 minutes, said the official. It is a testimony of Indian Railways’ commitment to efficiency, cleanliness, and passenger satisfaction, he said.
Thirty Vande Bharat Express trains at 30 stations, including train No. 20704 Yeshwanthapur- Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express and train no. 20608 Mysuru-Dr MGR Chennai Central Vande Bharat Express under South Western Railway, will be covered under the novel cleanliness initiative.
