Must read

The highly anticipated first-look poster of director Bala’s upcoming film, Vanangaan, has been unveiled. The poster was released as scheduled on social media at 10 am on September 25, creating quite a buzz among fans and movie enthusiasts.

Vanangaan stars Arun Vijay and Roshni Prakash in the lead roles, and the intriguing poster sets the tone for the film. In the poster, Arun Vijay is depicted covered in either cement or mud, holding sculptures of Lord Ganesh and social reformer Periyar. The contrasting sculptures add depth to the visual, sparking curiosity and discussions.

Arun Vijay shared his excitement about the film and the first-look poster on his social media handle, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to work with director Bala. The actor is humbled and thrilled to share Vanangaan with the audience.

Initially, the film had Suriya in the lead role, but due to script changes, he opted out of the project. Bala released an official statement explaining the situation and mentioned that he didn’t want to disappoint Suriya, so they decided mutually to part ways from the film. Arun Vijay stepped in as the lead, and Roshni Prakash replaced Krithi Shetty, with Samuthirakani also joining the star cast.

Vanangaan retains GV Prakash as the music composer and Sathish Suriya as the film’s editor. The film is produced by Suresh Kamatchi and has generated significant interest among cinephiles eager to see Bala’s storytelling magic in action once again.
