A woman practicing as a lawyer at Delhi High Court was found dead inside her house in Sector 30, Noida on Sunday, according to the police. Concerned that the woman had not answered her phone for two days, her brother contacted the police fearing something untoward might have happened. The woman’s body was discovered in the bathroom after breaking four locks of the house. During a search of the house, the husband was found to be missing. The police conducted an investigation and placed the husband’s phone under surveillance. Eventually, the husband was discovered at 3:00 p.m. hiding in a store room of the house and is currently being interrogated. The deceased, Renu Sinha, was 61 years old and lived with her husband Nitin Nath Sinha. Their son, who resides in America and visits India once or twice a year, was not present at the time of the incident. The deceased’s brother has alleged that his brother-in-law Nitin used to harass his sister and suspects that he may have killed her. According to local sources, there were frequent disputes between the husband and wife, leading to arguments. Despite living in the same house, they maintained separate living spaces. The police are currently investigating the matter.
