Agriculture Minister’s Visit To Disaster Management Centre: Climate Situation Study

Agriculture Minister N. Chaluvarayaswamy today visited the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Management Center in Bangalore and studied the weather conditions of the state and got accurate information. The minister discussed with the scientists and experts at the Disaster Management Center and received a study report on the state’s climate situation and its effects on the state in the coming days.  The Minister, who spent more than three hours at the disaster management center, received information from the experts about  the plans to be made by the agriculture department in addition to the information that can be given to the farmers about the rains that may occur in the district and this year, the water that may flow into the reservoir, the weather and the information that can be given to the farmers. The minister received information about the upcoming rain storm, Cauvery Kolla and the basin areas and North Karnataka in the coming days, the possibility of remaining crops and the measures to be taken by the farmers in the coming days.
