BJP national president J P Nadda participated in his party’s ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign by planting saplings in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The campaign aims to promote environmental protection and sustainable practices. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also joined the event, which took place at Amrit Vatika of Rishikul Ayurveda College. During the event, both leaders also paid their respects to Hindutva icon Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya. Nadda, during his visit, took the opportunity to listen to the 104th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ alongside BJP workers. Nadda’s visit to Uttarakhand included participation in a state BJP core group meeting and the Shantikunj conference in Haridwar. His arrival in Haridwar was met with a warm and enthusiastic welcome from the people. The BJP’s focus on environmental initiatives and political gatherings underscores their commitment to both public welfare and political engagement in the region.
