Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Tuesday took part in the Dasara pooja ceremonies held at both Vidhana Soudha and the KPCC offices in the city.

The festival, renowned for its grandeur and vibrant programmes, symbolizes the traditions and values that define the state.

During the pooja at Vidhana Soudha, Shivakumar offered prayers to Goddess Chamundeshwari, the presiding deity of Karnataka, invoking her blessings for peace, prosperity, and happiness across the state. He emphasized that such cultural observances not only reinforce the spiritual fabric of society but also promote unity and harmony among citizens.

Following the official rituals, Shivakumar attended the ceremony at the KPCC office, where he repeated his prayers for the welfare of the people and distributed sweets to attendees. The gesture was aimed at spreading goodwill and reinforcing the spirit of community celebration during the festive season.
