The CSIR Integrated Skill Initiative reviewed its first-year progress under Phase III during a two-day Coordinators’ Conclave-cum-Meeting of the Monitoring Committee. Hosted by CSIR-HRDC with CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, the conclave brought together Skill Nodal Coordinators from all 37 participating CSIR laboratories. They presented reports on training programs, trainee outreach, innovations, challenges and future plans. Monitoring Committee Chairman Dr. Mohana Krishna Reddy Mudiam stressed that skill development is vital for nation-building and outlined five priority pillars for a future-ready, industry-aligned ecosystem. Officials highlighted CSIR’s nationwide laboratory network and scientific expertise in creating industry-ready talent and supporting the Skill India Mission.
