Trio fills fuel, drives away without payment

Unidentified occupants of a white Ford EcoSport allegedly drove away without paying ₹4,711.09 for diesel at an Indian Oil fuel station in Kurkal village, Udupi district,. According to the complaint filed by station manager Ashish Karkada, the trio requested a full tank and fled while staff prepared the bill. Employees reported the occupants spoke fluent Tulu, claimed to be from Kumta, and appeared intoxicated. CCTV footage captured the incident, but the vehicle’s registration number was unclear. Shirva police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
