A young woman was allegedly attacked with a knife after being called outside her house at night during a dispute over a relationship. Police said the incident took place in the old bridge area of the city. The accused, identified as Mohammad Faran, along with the woman’s father Galib and brother Rajeek, allegedly attacked Abdul Mujahid’s son. The injured youth was first taken to the city public hospital for treatment. Doctors later advised shifting him to KRS Hospital in Mysuru for further care. A complaint has been registered at the city police station, and investigation is underway.
