HUNSUR
In Maradur village of Hunsur taluk, officials and temple committee members have moved to identify land for Venugol Swamy Temple. The proposed site measures 200 feet east-west and 100 feet north-south. Development Officer Dharmedra, Administrative Officer Nagaraj, and Seva Samiti members inspected and planned to send a proposal to the Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer for reservation of the land. Earlier, villagers had requested allocation of major temple land. Elders and committee members including Satish, Murthy, Lokesh, Siddalingappa, Prasanna and Srikanthu attended. Authorities have urged government approval for further action and preservation of temple.
