Pan IIT Summit 2026 To boost tech innovation

The Pan IIT Alumni India Association in partnership with the Government of Karnataka will host the “Pan-IIT Bangalore Summit 2026” in Bengaluru on May 16. The summit will focus on the theme “Autonomy in Technology.”

Addressing a press conference, Pankaj Kumar Pandey said Bengaluru has become a major hub for innovation, startups, and global technology investments, earning its reputation as the Silicon Valley of the East.

He noted that Karnataka has played a key role in India’s growth in sectors like aerospace, defence, and information technology, with companies like Infosys, TCS, HCL, and Wipro contributing significantly.

Pan IIT President Prabhat Kumar said the summit will include panel discussions, keynote sessions, and a large hackathon with around 10,000 participants. It will also connect startups with over 200 investors.

The event will feature experts from sectors like artificial intelligence, defence, energy, healthcare, and mobility. Prominent speakers include Sri Ravi Shankar, V. Ananth Nageswaran, and Venkat Padmanabhan.

Organisers said the summit aims to strengthen collaboration between industry, academia, and government, while promoting innovation and India’s technological growth.
