In a notable boost to the city’s evolving commercial and entrepreneurial landscape, a joint venture agreement has been formalised between Rohan Corporation and Rainmakers Workspace India Pvt Ltd to develop a state-of-the-art managed workspace in Mangaluru. The new facility will be located on the 4th floor of Rohan Square, further strengthening the building’s position as a growing business hub.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Dr Rohan Monteiro, Managing Director of Rohan Corporation, and Dion Monteiro, Director, along with Paneesh Rao, Managing Director of Rainmakers Workspace India Pvt Ltd, and Shreekar, representing the partner organisation. The collaboration is expected to introduce modern coworking infrastructure designed to support start-ups, freelancers, and emerging enterprises in the region.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr Rohan Monteiro said the initiative aims to bring innovative workspace solutions to Mangaluru. He emphasised that the project will provide a strong foundation for young entrepreneurs and contribute to building a more dynamic business environment in the city.
Paneesh Rao noted that Mangaluru is rapidly emerging as a significant business destination in coastal Karnataka. He added that the upcoming workspace will foster collaboration, creativity, and networking opportunities for the next generation of professionals and start-ups.
The joint venture is anticipated to play a key role in strengthening the local start-up ecosystem. It is also expected to generate increased commercial activity, attract new businesses, and support the city’s broader vision of becoming a competitive innovation and business centre in the region.
