The wait is over for Tamil cinema fans as the makers of the highly anticipated project, previously known only as AGS28, have finally revealed its official name. The upcoming family entertainer, starring “Action King” Arjun Sarja, Priety Mukhundhan, and Abhirami, has been titled Blast. Production house AGS Entertainment shared the news on social media, promising that the film will hit theaters very soon.
Excitement for the movie has been building since February, when the team announced they had finished filming. A heartwarming video from the set showed the cast and crew celebrating the wrap-up with cake and smiles. This project is particularly special because it marks the Tamil debut of music director Ravi Basrur, the man behind the powerful sounds of the blockbuster KGF series.
The film is directed by Subhash K. Raj, a rising talent who previously worked under hitmaker Pradeep Ranganathan. Sources close to the production describe Blast as a wholesome story meant for the entire family to enjoy together. Along with the lead trio, the movie features a strong supporting cast, including Vivek Prasanna and John Kokken.
Produced by the Kalpathi brothers, Blast follows a string of recent successes for the studio, including the hits Love Today and Dragon. With a mix of seasoned stars, fresh talent, and a legendary music composer, the production team is confident that this “Blast” will live up to its name and deliver a massive hit at the box office.
