A state level symposium titled ‘Ahinda-25: Struggle, Achievement, Resolution’ will be held in Hubballi on April 26 at Royal Retiz Hotel on Airport Road, marking 25 years of the Ahinda movement.

Gurunath Ullikashi said this in a press meet noting that the first Ahinda conference was also held in Hubballi 25 years ago. He added that the event is being organized with various Dalit and Ahinda groups to remember the journey and achievements of the movement. Training sessions on leadership and organization will also be part of the workshop he said.

Thinkers including Nagamohan Das, Ravi Varma and Bande Nawaz are expected to participate in the discussions. More than 1,500 participants from different districts and organizations are likely to attend the event. Ministers Satish Jarkiholi, Santosh Lad, Salim Ahmed and MLA Prasad Abbayya will also take part along with other leaders.

Organizers said the symposium aims to reflect on past struggles and set resolutions for future social progress. The press conference was attended by Gurunath Ullikashi and other representatives of various organizations who shared details about the program arrangements. They said the symposium will focus on awareness, unity, and strengthening of social justice ideas among younger generations.

The event is expected to conclude with discussions and resolutions that highlight the goals of the Ahinda movement going forward. Organizers expressed confidence that the symposium will bring together leaders, thinkers and activists to strengthen the message of equality and social empowerment in Karnataka. Weeks of preparation have been completed to ensure participation from multiple districts and smooth conduct of the program. The initiative highlights unity and social awareness across Karnataka statewide message.
