Navy staff kills woman, stores body parts

Visakhapatnam

An Indian Navy staff member allegedly killed a 28-year-old woman in Gajuwaka and tried to destroy evidence. The accused, Chintada Ravindra, called the woman, Polipalli Mounika, to his house when his wife was away. After an argument, he reportedly killed her, cut the body into pieces, stored some parts in a fridge, and burnt others at a vacant place. Police said the two were in a relationship since 2021. A special team is investigating the case further.
