Jerusalem
The Israel Defence Forces stated that it carried out a strike on a major Iranian missile production facility in Yazd, focusing on infrastructure linked to the development and storage of advanced weapons. The site was reportedly used to support missile launches from submarines, helicopters, and cruise platforms targeting maritime locations.
According to the IDF, its Air Force also launched operations across Tehran and parts of western Iran, concentrating on ballistic missile production units. Acting on military intelligence, overnight strikes targeted missile launchers and storage facilities seen as potential threats to Israel’s security.
In separate operations, nearly 20 fighter jet sorties were conducted over regions including Kermanshah and Dezful. Around 70 munitions were used to hit missile systems and air defence installations. The IDF added that personnel associated with these sites were also neutralised during the attacks.
At the same time, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced a fresh phase of its campaign, Operation True Promise 4, targeting US and Israeli-linked assets such as military bases and oil facilities. The IDF also reported detecting new ballistic missile launches from Iran following a short pause.
