A new chapter is beginning for the famous Ghattamaneni family of Telugu cinema. Decades ago, Superstar Krishna Ghattamaneni became a legend, changing the face of Telugu films in the 1960s. His sons, Ramesh Babu and Mahesh Babu, continued that proud legacy, with Mahesh becoming one of the most celebrated actors in the industry.
Now, the torch passes to the next generation. Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, grandson of Superstar Krishna and son of the late Ramesh Babu, is all set to make his acting debut. The film will be directed by Ajay Bhupathi, best known for the hit movie RX 100.
Veteran producer Ashwini Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies, a long-time collaborator with the Ghattamaneni family, will present the film. The production will be handled by P. Kiran under the Chandamama Kathalu banner. Dutt, who earlier made Agni Parvatham with Krishna and later launched Mahesh Babu in Rajakumarudu, now continues the family’s cinematic legacy with Jaya Krishna.
The film’s announcement poster has already caught attention, showing a beautiful caricature of the Tirumala Temple surrounded by scenic hills. This artwork hints at a divine and emotional journey, setting high expectations for Jaya Krishna’s debut and marking the rise of a new star in Telugu cinema.
