NEW DELHI
Global tech leader Google has announced a new two-week programme under Google for Startups India to help early-stage founders, startup teams, and aspiring entrepreneurs develop launch-ready AI prototypes using Google’s advanced AI tools.
Running from November 27 to December 7, the programme will train participants to ideate, design, and deploy AI-first solutions using tools like Gemini, Imagen, Veo, Nano Banana, NotebookLM, and AI Studio. It focuses on practical modules such as AI-first prototyping, AI-powered research, and AI creative studio.
Successful participants will receive a Google-recognized Certificate of Participation and may qualify for the “Build the Future” Showcase in January 2026, where selected innovators will gain mentorship from Google experts.
Ragini Das, Head of Google for Startups India, said the initiative aims to make AI power accessible to every founder. “Our goal is to remove traditional coding barriers and help entrepreneurs move from concept to creation quickly using Google’s full-stack AI ecosystem,” she explained.
The programme is supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology’s (MeitY) Startup Hub, Startup India, IndiaAI Mission, and Nasscom. MeitY Startup Hub CEO Panneerselvam Madanagopal said the partnership reflects the vision of Digital India and Viksit Bharat, empowering founders to create socially impactful and globally competitive AI solutions.
Earlier, in September, Google launched a three-month AI Accelerator programme for 20 Indian startups selected from over 1,600 applicants. The company noted that India’s generative AI startup ecosystem has grown 3.7 times in the past year, making it the world’s second-largest GenAI hub.
