Indian bowlers Mohammed Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav climbed the latest ICC Men’s Test Player Rankings following India’s dominant innings-and-140-run victory over the West Indies in Ahmedabad, while teammate Jasprit Bumrah maintained his position as the No. 1-ranked Test bowler.
Siraj, who took seven wickets across both innings, jumped three places to 12th overall and achieved a career-best rating. Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav also impressed, claiming four wickets to rise seven spots to 21st. Bumrah’s consistency continued with three wickets in the match, keeping him firmly at the top of the bowling rankings.
India’s batsmen also enjoyed upward movement in the rankings. Veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja earned a career-high rating and moved six places to 25th following his unbeaten century, while KL Rahul’s century saw him rise four spots to 35th. Jadeja further strengthened his lead among Test all-rounders, while teammate Washington Sundar climbed four positions to 11th.
Meanwhile, the latest T20I rankings saw significant shifts following the trans-Tasman series between New Zealand and Australia. Australia’s Mitch Marsh rose 13 places to equal 10th in T20I batting after scoring 197 runs from three innings. New Zealander Tim Robinson gained 58 spots to reach 22nd after his century, and Bangladesh’s Saif Hassan moved up 17 places to 18th following an unbeaten half-century.
Among bowlers, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan rose six positions to second in T20I rankings behind Varun Chakravarthy, with teammates Noor Ahmad and Mujeeb Ur Rahman also climbing into the top 25. Australia pacer Josh Hazlewood gained 10 spots to 13th after three wickets against New Zealand.
