Malpe police have arrested three individuals in connection with the murder of private bus owner Saifuddin on September 27.
The arrested are Mohammad Faisal Khan (27) of Mission Compound, Udupi; Mohammad Sharif (37) of KunjibettuKaramballi; and Abdul Shukoor (43) of Katipalla. The trio was presented in court immediately after their arrest.
The operation was executed under the supervision of Udupi Sub-Divisional DSP D.T. Prabhu and led by Malpe Circle Inspector Ramachandra Nayak. PSI Anil Kumar D and the Malpe police team actively participated in the arrest.
Police officials stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the motive and check for any further involvement. Local residents welcomed the arrests and called for swift justice, urging authorities to ensure safety in the Malpe area.
