Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan has released the teaser for Lokah Chapter 2, and it’s already creating a buzz online. He posted it on his X profile with the caption, “Beyond myths. Beyond legends. A new chapter begins.” The teaser confirms that the Lokah universe is expanding, with actor Tovino Thomas taking the lead role this time.
The film is produced by Dulquer’s Wayfarer Films and directed by Dominic Arun. The teaser hints at a darker, more thrilling sequel full of myth and mystery.
The first film, Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra, released in 2025, was a big hit. It mixed mythology, crime, and superhero themes and starred Kalyani Priyadarshan as Chandra. It became one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films ever. At the end of that film, a post-credit scene teased a new character, Chathan. Now, it’s confirmed—Tovino Thomas will play this spooky, goblin-like role.
Lokah Chapter 2 will explore deeper regional myths, supernatural elements, and complex stories, much like Hollywood’s big cinematic universes. With Dominic Arun returning as director and Tovino joining the cast after his hit Minnal Murali, expectations are high. Filming starts in early 2026. This sequel could become a major moment in Malayalam cinema.
