Students should develop values of patriotism, sacrifice, and service from a young age, said Mahalinga Swamiji of Hiremath Samsthana. Speaking at the Kalyana Karnataka Utsav organised at Shri Channabasaveshwar Gurukul Education Complex in Karadyal, the seer stressed the importance of remembering the sacrifices of leaders who fought against the oppression and misrule. Their dedication should inspire us to build a strong society and a united nation, he said.
Administrative officer Mohan Reddy and student representatives also addressed the gathering. The event saw the participation of dignitaries including Mahesh Maharaj, Mahesh Kulkarni, Praveen Khandale, Kiran Sajjan Shetty, Sudhakar Biradar, Raju, Prashant Reddy, Shashikumar, and Anil Kumar Patil.
