Zilla Panchayat CEO Eshwar Kumar Kandu announced that Best Panchayat Development Officer commendation letter will be given based on the performance of each month, with the aim of recognizing and encouraging the excellent service of PDOs working in Gram Panchayats.
Speaking at a meeting to review the progress of various projects at the Zilla Panchayat office hall, he presented the ‘Best Panchayat Development Award’ to PDO Basavaraja Vastra, who made progress in various projects in August at Neeralakere Gram Panchayat in Lingasugur taluk.
If the services of those who work with enthusiasm are recognized and appreciation letters are distributed, the performance of PDOs will increase even more. It will encourage them to work in even greater ways, he said.
Zilla Panchayat Deputy Secretary Halasidhappa Poojeri, Project Director Sharanabasavaraja Kesaratti, Chief Accountant Vijaya Shankar, Chief Planning Officer T. Roni, officers of various district and taluk level projects and Gram Panchayat development officers were present.
