Reliance to Launch ‘Reliance Intelligence’ to Provide AI for Everyone

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani on Friday unveiled Reliance Intelligence, a wholly owned subsidiary aimed at making artificial intelligence accessible to all. Speaking at the company’s annual general meeting, Ambani said the initiative will serve as a new growth engine, comparable to the role Jio played in revolutionizing digital connectivity a decade ago.
At the core of Reliance Intelligence are four missions: building India’s next-generation AI infrastructure, enabling global collaborations, delivering AI-powered services tailored for the country, and nurturing a skilled talent pool. To support this vision, the company has begun developing gigawatt-scale AI-ready data centres in Jamnagar. These centres, powered by clean energy, will be rolled out in phases to match India’s rising demand for AI capabilities.
Ambani highlighted that Reliance Intelligence will provide easy-to-use, reliable, and affordable AI solutions across key sectors, including healthcare, education, and agriculture. The services will extend to individuals, small businesses, and large enterprises, ensuring widespread accessibility.
He emphasized the role of global partnerships, noting that Reliance Intelligence will collaborate with international technology leaders and open-source communities to strengthen innovation. In addition, it will serve as a hub for world-class researchers, engineers, and product developers, accelerating the transition from ideas to real-world applications.
Ambani described AI’s transformative role as akin to a “new Kamdhenu,” symbolizing limitless possibilities. He also underlined how the convergence of AI, clean energy, and genomics is creating a future marked by abundance, efficiency, and affordability for India and the world.
