Actor Saiyami Kher has joined Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan in Priyadarshan’s new film Haiwaan, which recently began shooting in Kochi.
Sharing her excitement, Saiyami said stepping onto the sets was an emotional moment. She recalled her childhood memories of watching Akshay Kumar redefine action on the big screen and laughing at Saif Ali Khan’s effortless comic timing in films that became a part of her growing-up years. I never imagined I would one day share the frame with them. It feels like life has come full circle, she said.
She also expressed her admiration for Priyadarshan, calling him a storyteller whose films made her fall in love with cinema. Being guided by his vision is a blessing. I feel grateful to be part of a project that already feels very special, she added.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar shared a fun behind-the-scenes video from the sets. Wearing a T-shirt with the word Saint, he teased Saif, saying, I know this devil very well, hinting at the light-hearted bond the two share. In his caption, Akshay wrote, We all have a bit of mischief in us. Some appear saintly, some carry a Haiwaan inside. Excited to start shooting with my favourite captain Priyadarshan Sir, and thrilled to reunite with Saif after 18 years.
The duo was last seen together in Tashan (2008), directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan.
