Asian and World Champion Srinivas BV from Rohtak Rowdies was named Player of the Day on Day 14 of the Pro Panja League Season 2 for his outstanding performance in the specially-abled category. The action took place at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Training Centre for Disability Sports, where over 1,000 fans enjoyed a thrilling day of arm-wrestling.
Rohtak Rowdies moved up the points table with a 20-7 win over Mumbai Muscle, while Kiraak Hyderabad continued their dominance at the top after a 14-11 victory against MP Hathodas. Srinivas set the tone for his team with a commanding 10-0 win over Krishna Sharma, including a lightning-fast pin in just 0.64 seconds. His teammate Manoj Debnath also impressed, defeating Gwalior’s Jogendar Yadav with a clean 5-0 sweep.
In the undercard matches, Billa Tajamul (Rowdies) and Kunal Verma picked up solid 2-0 wins in their respective categories, while Mumbai’s Gautam Kumar managed a close 2-1 victory. Hyderabad, meanwhile, delivered a flawless undercard sweep against MP Hathodas, with wins from Stewe Thomas, Madhura KN, and Rachna Jatav.
The main card produced more excitement as Paarth Sonni gave Mumbai Muscle hope with a 5-0 win in the 100+ kg battle, but Rowdies quickly regained control. The day ended with Hyderabad sealing another win as Amit Singh and Naveen MV claimed crucial victories, while Hathodas’ Sachin Goyal earned a dominant 10-0 win.
With this, Kiraak Hyderabad remain table leaders, while Rowdies’ form keeps them climbing.
