Madhu Bangarappa criticizes BJP, respects Veerendra Heggade

He criticized BJP for politicizing tragedies, highlighting poor security in Pahalgam, warning members could have faced harm, and condemning the party for celebrating deaths with vile intelligence.

Chitradurga

Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa said he would not comment directly on the Dharmasthala case, stressing that the law should take its course and resolve the matter quickly. Speaking at Thalavatti village in Chitradurga district, he expressed his deep respect for Dharmasthala and its head, Veerendra Heggade.

However, the minister criticized the BJP for politicizing the issue. He accused the party of exploiting incidents to create unrest and spread fear. Referring to past tragedies, Madhu Bangarappa mentioned Operation Sindoor, where several girls were orphaned, and questioned why the BJP never looked into the causes of such events. Instead, he said, BJP leaders use these incidents to deliver speeches, inflame emotions, and gain political mileage.

He added that during such incidents, there is often a lack of security and proper arrangements, highlighting that in Pahalgam, no police were present to protect tourists during a crisis. The minister warned that if BJP members had been present, they might have faced similar consequences. He strongly criticized the party for celebrating deaths and using tragedies for political gain, calling it a display of vile intelligence.

Madhu Bangarappa said the people should not tolerate such political games and must openly condemn them. He emphasized that the Dharmasthala issue is being unnecessarily politicized, which undermines public sentiment and disrespects sacred places. According to him, focusing on the law and letting the authorities handle investigations is the only proper way to address the situation, rather than turning it into a political spectacle.

In conclusion, he urged citizens to reject attempts to manipulate tragedies for political gain, highlighting that respect for religious institutions and compassion for those affected must remain above political agendas. He reiterated his hope that the legal process would resolve the case quickly and fairly.
