Ranbir Kapoor reveals his marriage plans and hints it will be “soon”

With work on his ambitious film ‘Brahmastra’ now officially wrapped up, Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor can focus on matters of the heart.
The hunk, who is usually coy about his personal life, didn’t mind dropping hints about his upcoming wedding to lady love, Alia Bhatt. While out doing press for his late father Rishi Kapoor’s film ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’, the actor was asked when he plans on taking the plunge.
Declining to reveal D-day, Ranbir did, however, tell NDTV, “I won’t give out a date during a media interaction. But Alia and I have all the intentions of getting married soon, so yes, hopefully soon.”
“Soon” could be as early as April (as rumours suggest) or later this year that the Kapoor and Bhatt families have narrowed down on an October 2022 wedding.
A source revealed, “One really does not know why the dates are going back and forth when it comes to Alia and Ranbir getting married. As for the renovation of Krishna Raj in Mumbai’s Pali Hill – their abode – it is far from ready; it might take at least 18 months more from today for it to be ready in all respects for one to move in and settle down.”
Besides the wedding, Ranbir is also eagerly anticipating the release of his film ‘Brahmastra’. After many delays and spending nearly 5 years in production, the epic fantasy film is set to hit the big screen on September 9.
