Few days ago, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis brought back attention to Sushant Singh Rajputs case during an interview and said that the credibility of the evidence in the case is being examined and the investigation is still underway by the CBI team.
In the latest development, the CBI is reportedly still awaiting the response from Facebook and Google for a request that had been sent to them back in 2021 regarding Sushants deleted chats, posts and emails.
The reason the investigating authority wants these deleted information is that these will help them to ascertain what exactly happened in the month of June 2020, when Sushant was found dead in his rented flat.
A CBI office told a news publication that the case is pending finalisation as this technical evidence (deleted chats and posts etc) would help them to take the case to a logical conclusion.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment in June 2020 and the Mumbai Police to Enforcement Directorate (ED), to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) were brought in to investigate various angles in the death of the actor.
