As reported earlier, Suriya will be starring in Bala’s directorial after 11 years. The film will reportedly see Atharvaa and Keerthy Suresh in pivotal roles and the latest report suggests that the film’s shoot for this Suriya and Bala reunion has started today. A village set has been erected in Kanyakumari for Suriya’s film with Bala, and the shooting of the film has commenced with a ritual puja today. A few pictures from the shooting spot have been shared by fans on social media.
Suriya also took to his Twitter handle to share his excitement about the film, and wrote, “Been waiting for #DirBala na my mentor to say Action!!! …After 18 years, it’s happiness today…! This moment… we need all your wishes! #Suriya41”.
Suriya will reportedly play a dual role in this film, while one character will be a normal one, the other is said to be deaf and dumb. He is also expected to be playing a fisherman in the film as the makers opted to go to Kanyakumari for the film shoot. GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in as the composer, and it’s going to be a back-to-back film for the composer with Suriya.
On the other hand, Suriya has recently begun shooting for ‘Vaadivaasal’ with Vetri Maaran, and he is expected to shoot simultaneously for ‘Vaadivaasal’ and ‘Suriya 41’ for the next few months.
