The announcement was made on Monday by Prof. H.C. Boralingayya, President of the Janapada Parishat, during a press conference at the city outskirts venue.

The exhibition features intricately crafted dolls representing deities, mythological characters, and cultural tableaux from various countries. Highlights include figures of Shiva, Parvati, Vishnu, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Krishna lifting Govardhan Hill, Vishnu Parivar, Ravana’s court, temple-front dance processions, and iconic structures like Mysore Palace, among other special displays. Each exhibit has been carefully curated to showcase traditional artistry and storytelling through doll-making.

On the tenth day, Vijayadashami, children and elders exchange banana leaves as part of blessings and festive greetings. To mark this occasion, Janapada Loka will organize a special banana tree worship ceremony, along with deity processions and an aarti, on October 2.

The event Is being coordinated by Managing Trustee Aditya Nanjraj, Administrative Officer Sarasvani, and curators Ravi, Pradeep, and Sandeep. Authorities have ensured that the exhibition will follow safety protocols and provide an enriching experience for visitors of all ages. The month-long doll exhibition at Janapada Loka aims to blend cultural heritage, festive celebration, and public engagement, offering an immersive journey into art, mythology, and tradition.
