MoU Signed Between AFTC And IISc

An MoU between Air Force Technical College (AFTC), IAF and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore was signed at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) campus on March 23, to promote academic cooperation, enhance scientific understanding of defence-adopted technologies and to undertake research and development activities in mutually beneficial areas. The MoU was signed by Air Commodore Ratnesh Gupta, Commandant, on behalf of Air Force Technical College, Bangalore and Captain Sridhar Warrier, Registrar on behalf of Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru.
The MoU will facilitate joint study/research work by AFTC as well as IISc in order to offer solutions to problem statements of IAF and to facilitate the AFTC Trainee Officers an open access to IISc Library. The areas of collaboration will be Aerospace Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Radar & Microwave, Guided Weapon, Drone Technologies, Computer Science & Cyber Security, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
