Akshay Kumar reveals he wants to play a psycho in his next film

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ was released last week on Holi, March 18. Helmed by Farhad Samji, the film also starred Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi and Kriti Sanon. Recently, during a media interaction in Delhi, Akki opened up about his upcoming films.
During the interaction, he was quizzed if he would like to play more roles of a villain. The ‘Sooryavanshi’ actor replied saying that he likes to play anything and everything. It’s been 30 years for him in this industry and there are so many characters that are still pending for him to do.
The actor revealed that he is dying to play those characters and has a hunger in him for his work. Akki called himself a greedy kind of a workaholic and said that he wants to play a psycho and do comedy roles.
The star further revealed that after a long time he is playing a character like this in Bachchhan Paandey and he enjoyed it. Akshay said that his character is very scary but eventually, you’ll fall in love with him. Calling his latest release a complete family entertainer he stated that you will start forgetting what he has done that is the power of the story.
‘Bachchhan Paandey’ is the remake of the 2014 Tamil film Veeram. Akki essayed the role of a gangster, while Kriti played an aspiring director.
On the work front, he was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Atrangi Re’ with Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush.
