Madhu accuses BJP of ignoring people’s problems

CH NEWS, SHIVAMOGGA
BJP is marching not to solve people’s problems. Minister Madhu Bangarappa scolded Congress leaders for criticizing them personally.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, he said that he has learned to speak in the style of BY Vijayendra. Instead of listening to people’s problems during the march, he is criticizing our leaders.

Earlier, when Siddaramaiah was the Chief Minister, the BJP had criticised him. Now, they are praising him, thinking that there is factional politics in the Congress. The BJP has been following this policy of hitting and ruling for generations, he scolded.

Yediyurappa had rejected the BJP and formed KJP. Let the BJP speak about this. The same Yediyurappa government that destroyed Devaraja Urs’ land scheme, the same Basavaraja Bommai government that ruined the issue of Sharavati victims, should we forget that they shot farmers wearing green shawls. Have you all forgotten what Deve Gowda said to Yediyurappa.

The issue of Sharavati victims should be resolved step by step. If not, the axe will be struck at the root. We will resolve this within the elections, he said.

The state government has opposed the Kasturirangan report. But what are you doing when your government is at the center. A meeting was called on August 11, 2016 regarding this. Why did MPs BY Raghavendra and MP Shobha Karandlaje not attend then where did they go. BY Vijayendra is going to the farmers’ fields by walking today. But how many meetings have been held regarding the Bagar Hukum in Shikaripura so far, he said.

Why are our MPs silent when the central government was trying to implement the Kasturirangan report. If it is not the central government that has forgotten its responsibility, then why did the central government take the state government to court regarding the Kasturirangan report in 2014. With all these mistakes, the BJP is now marching in mourning, he said.

KPCC state spokesperson Ayanur Manjunath, Textile and Handloom Infrastructure Development Corporation President Chetan K Gowda, Backward Classes State Coordinator GD Manjunath, District President Ramesh Shankarghatta and others were present at the press conference.
