India’s auto sector demand remained strong in June with personal mobility vehicles continuing to perform better. A report said easing supply constraints at manufacturers, healthy retail demand and strong exports supported growth. Two wheeler sales rose across companies while exports of two and three wheelers stayed firm. Commercial vehicles showed mixed performance but wholesale demand improved due to infrastructure and replacement needs. Tractor demand remained stable while passenger vehicle sales grew supported by new launches and affordability.
